In a bid to boost Agricultural production and food security in the north eastern region, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, Dr. Sanusi has visited the Irrigation Farm at the Upper Benue at the Dadin Kowa, Yalmatu Deba LGA, Gombe State.
The visit, which is part of Dr. Mohammed’s ongoing efforts to assess the authority’s projects and identify areas for improvement, aimed to evaluate the farm’s operations and explore opportunities for expansion and modernization.
During the visit, Dr. Sanusi interacted with farmers and staff at the irrigation farm, discussing challenges, opportunities, and strategies for enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability in the region.
As the chief executive of the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, Dr. Sanusi is committed to harnessing the region’s water resources to drive economic growth, improve livelihoods, and reduce poverty.
