HON. MOHAMMED ALKALI PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO HONOURABLE MINISTER OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT, SEEKS STRONGER PARTNERSHIP
The Focal Person on Labour to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, Hon. Mohammed Alkali, on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Hon. Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
Hon. Alkali commended the Honourable Minister for his exemplary leadership and ongoing efforts toward improving industrial harmony and promoting decent work across Nigeria. He reiterated the commitment of the Yobe State Government to align with the Federal Ministry’s agenda in fostering sustainable labour relations and enhancing the welfare of workers in the state.
In his response, Hon. Dingyadi warmly received the Yobe Labour Focal Person and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to deepen collaboration with the Yobe State Government. He assured Hon. Alkali that the Federal Ministry will continue to support states in implementing policies and programmes that advance productivity, workers’ welfare, and employment opportunities.
Hon. Alkali also paid a visit to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, who offered prayers, guidance, and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to a strong working partnership with the Yobe State Government.
Hon. Alkali, in his closing remarks, expressed profound appreciation for the warm reception and fatherly guidance extended to him by both the Honourable Minister and the Permanent Secretary. He pledged to sustain the synergy between the Yobe State Government and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment in the collective pursuit of national development and industrial peace.
